MIM ~ Framing Sentiments

Laurie has a video up HERE showing how she likes to frame sentiments to draw your eye to it, or you could have an image inside the frame too.  I chose the sentiment and made my frame using two die cuts.  And of course more of the Farmer's Market Florals.  The sentiment is from Bigger Blooms
I like this design and will try to remember to use it more often!!

Debbie is our host this week and she has a wonderful photo for your inspiration.
Here is what I took from the photo:
Of course there was a sweet little puppy in the picture and a beautiful tree, but I chose the wreath hanging on the wall, I think the dog is looking at it!*wink

My Valentine Cards...

I had a piece of alcohol inked up paper, so I used it with my IO heart die and pieced them all back in again...I was missing one little heart, but covered up the space with the a PB swirled "love" die
I made a whole bunch of valentine cards using the PB Hugs stamp, this is one of the hedgehogs blowing heart bubbles.  I stamped more hearts and covered them with glossy accents hoping they would look like bubble hearts too!
And this is a Lawn Fawn older stamp set called Woodgrain Backdrop.  My DH snuck in and grabbed this one to give to me...he didn't write in it though, he typed up a tear jerking letter for me! He knew I might want to save it to give out another time!
Hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day!
I head to Salt Lake City early Friday morning for a BIG volleyball tournament (it is called the Triple Crown!).  Both granddaughters are playing this year...the older one plays in the morning wave which goes from 8am - 2pm and the younger granddaughter plays 3pm - probably 10pm!  earlier if we are lucky with the schedule!  both girls playing makes for very long days for the spectators and NO time to do site seeing or shopping!!  Barely time to get a meal!
Hope I can play a little bit tomorrow while I wash clothes and pack!

PTI Day 10 Stripes Challenge

Today is Day 10 of the 11th Anniversary Challenges and they are asking for STRIPES on the card.
I was going for some crazy bright, vibrant colors and I think I achieved it!
I die cut the top and bottom striped orange zest from the pattern pack paper.  I sponged on picked raspberry and candied apple to the background paper first. My flowers are from the Farmer's Market Florals in all the bright colors I could think of...I kind of love this bright card!
My sentiment is from Graceful Greetings.

I don't know about you, but I am excited to see the full reveal tomorrow and get my shopping cart full and save 11%!!

PTI 11th Anniversary Day 8 Color Challenge

I couldn't resist the rainbow colors!
I used the new Birthday Balloons stamp and an older stamp with die called Swoosh.
The 'wishes' comes from Ways to Say: Birthday!
And the balloon strings come from Birthday Style!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Merry Monday # 277

Deanne is our Merry Maker this week and her challenge for Merry Monday is to use a stencil on your Christmas card.
I used the sunburst stencil from PTI for the background for the baby Jesus in a manger.
It is a two part sunburst stencil and I used Distress oxide inks to blend the rays.
and inside is the sentiment
I look forward to seeing what stencil you use on your Christmas card this week!

PTI ~ 11th Anniversary Day 7 NO STAMPS! DIES ONLY

Today we are challenged to use only DIES on our card...NO STAMPS ALLOWED!!
For this challenge I took out the Mix & Mat Pretty Brackets, but only used the inner two for my die cut and impression.  I then took a Limitless Layer Heart, die cut it and sponged it with DO ink, pink raspberry and candied apple.  The "LOVE" is a die cut from Inspired by: Love.  And those flowers and leaves are from the 2014 SAF:  1940's; I sponged on different colors of red, purples and pinks and added some sequins.  Another Valentine card for the stash!!
